How to Implement Agricultural and Community-Based Recycling will teach municipal and county officials and employees how to plan and implement agricultural and domestic recycling opportunities in order to protect their natural resources and beautify their communities.

Target Audience(s):

Municipal and government elected officials and employees, but agricultural producers and the general public would ultimately benefit from the implementation of this program

Objectives:

Participants will learn:

  • How to plan and host an agricultural waste pesticide disposal event in their community,
  • About grants and other funding sources that can be used to implement agricultural and community recycling opportunities,
  • The basics about community recycling including the benefits, and
  • The key items and topics to consider when beginning a new community recycling program.
