Alcorn County 4-H Newsletter

A note from your Agent...

Fall is finally in the air . . . at least in the early morning hours. 4-H has a lot of fall activities going on and I hope you will plan to join in the fun. The newsletter and our county 4-H Facebook page is the best way to stay informed of what ’s happening. One important date to remember for our 4-H volunteers is the annual program planning meeting Monday, October 23, at 5:00 p.m. If you have considered becoming a 4-H volunteer we invite you to join us for this fun meeting. We won ’t make you commit to anything, but you may discover you want to be a part of the Alcorn County 4-H program. A strong 4-H program provides opportunities for our youth. Adult volunteers are the foundation of a strong program! Also, if you missed the 4-H Shooting Sports registration event you still have time to sign up. Please come by the Alcorn County Extension office. Safety training and practices started last weekend for air rifle.

As always, please do not hesitate to contact the Alcorn County Extension office if you have any questions or suggestions.
