Bobwhite Quail in Mississippi
School systems (public and private) in Mississippi are being reached with mobile school enrichment modules. These modules are designed to teach students about natural resources in Mississippi while simultaneously addressing state curriculum requirements. Available to teachers and environmental educators through their county extension office, school enrichment modules are scheduled in two-week blocks to allow classes sufficient time to participate in all module components. Each module provides students with fun-filled learning opportunities through the use of a free standing back drop, multimedia educational tools (computer software, slide presentations, or videos), and lesson plans.
NEW! Our newest module, Mississippi Endangered Species and Wildlife Success Stories was designed in a new format. This module contains 13 full color posters, an interactive CD-Rom, and a teacher's notebook. A copy of this module is available for checkout from your local superintendent's office or your Mississippi State University District Extension Office.
