CRYSTAL
SPRINGS -- In 2007, the staff at the Crystal Springs Branch Experiment
Station, led by Dr. Rick Snyder, used a mini-grant from the Mississippi
AgrAbility Project to modify a tour wagon for wheelchair accessibility.
Each fall, the station conducts a two-day educational event of seminars and tours covering topics that pertain to vegetable gardening, insects, conservation, flowers, pond management and weed control. The modified wagon allows wheelchair users to participate in the tours that cover the grounds of the experiment station.
