Farm Safety: AgrAbility
AgrAbility is a USDA-funded
grant project awarded to select land-grant based Cooperative Extension
Services that join with non-profit disability organizations in order
to educate and assist agricultural workers with disabilities and their
families.
The Mississippi AgrAbility Project partners:
- Mississippi State University Extension Service
- T.K. Martin Center for Technology and Disability
- Methodist Rehabilitation Center
- Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services
- Alcorn State University Extension Program
This project capitalizes on the collaborative expertise of these three organizations' specialized rehabilitative services and agricultural engineering.
