You Can Make A Difference In The Lives of Young People4-H is the nonformal educational program of the Cooperative Extension Service of Mississippi State University. 4-H is dedicated to the development of boys and girls ages 8 - 18, through learn-by-doing projects and activities. 4-H focuses on helping adults help youth. You can find YOUR PLACE in the 4-H program. 4-H Club LeaderHelps youth plan and carry out their programs. Involve club members in these ways:
Project LeaderWorks with club members informally in a project. Works with 4-H club leader. Helps conduct a workshop in a project area. Activity LeaderHelps 4-H members plan and carry out an activity they have planned within their club program. Works with the 4-H club leader. QualificationsHave an interest in young people and a desire to influence their growth as individuals - in skills, character, leadership, and citizenship.
