Crop Summary
Above average rainfall occurred during April, May and June. The fungicide Tilt was aerially applied at a rate of 4 oz/a in mid-June to suppress the spread of Common Rust present in the field. Then, it was dry from mid-July through August. A severe localized wind storm caused significant lodging before harvest. The previous crop was corn. The ground was hipped the previous fall. A burn down was applied and we planted.
