Crop Summary
Land preparation consisted of one field cultivation prior to planting. Previous crop was soybeans. Farmer yearly rotates corn and soybeans. All herbicide treatments were post applied. Planting was delayed until late March because of rainfall. Adequate rainfall was received early season, and heavy rainfall was received during the growing season. These rainfall patterns did not appear to cause adverse growing conditions, but apparently reduced plant height and yield potential. The corn was planted flat into soybean stubble.
