Crop Summary
This location received excessive rainfall from the time of planting until the ear leaf stage. Adequate rainfall was received through pollination. Less than ideal rainfall was received during the 21 days prior to physiological maturity. Consequently, high soil moisture levels and cool temperatures slowed plant development for the first 60 days, resulting in reduced plant size. The previous crop was wheat then soybeans double cropped. The land preparation was disc, hip, and do-all before planting.
