How To Wash Clothing Worn By Pesticide Handlers

  • Handle all contaminated clothing with rubber gloves.
  • Presoak with baking soda.
  • Wash separately from the family's other wash.
  • Use a heavy-duty detergent.
  • Use hottest and longest washing cycle.
  • Line dry.
  • After washing, run the machine through a complete cycle, with detergent only.
