Tables
12-41 summarize results of individual small-plot tarnished
plant bug trials in Mississippi for the years 1982 to 1997.
Values for the check plots (control plots) represent the
mean number of tarnished plant bugs per sample unit (usually
visual counts or sweep-net counts of 25 sweeps) occurring in
the untreated or water-treated plots. Pretreatment sample
data are omitted, and means from evaluations are listed
within separate columns for each sample day as DAT (Days
After Treatment). DAT for trials with multiple applications
is computed from the first spray application. Some data were
reported as a mean of all sample dates, and these are
designated as seasonal means.
