Location Summary

The weather conditions for the Group IV varieties were less than ideal. Three inches of rainfall within 14 days of planting and only 1.2 inches for the next 37 days plus above normal temperatures severely stressed the Group IV varieties. Adequate moisture during July and August and timely rainfall during September allowed for good pod development and fill for the Group V and VI varieties.
