Location Summary

Adequate moisture at planting resulted in good emergence of all maturity groups. Excessive rainfall in April severely stressed the Group IV varieties. This early season stress greatly reduced the plant height and yield potential of the early maturing Group IV varieties. Below normal rainfall in May and a combination of high temperatures and below normal rainfall from June 13-July 30 proved too much for the Group VI soybean varieties to overcome.
