Postemergence (6/8/94):
(Group Vs received 2x rate) Cobra* (2EC)--equipment was calibrated
(Group VIIs received 3x rate) to deliver 0.625 pt/a (10 oz.) Cobra +
(Group VIs were split- 0.5 pt/a cropoil con-centrate. However,
between the 2x and 3x rate) due to a misapplication, part of this
variety trial location was treated with
a 3x rate of these materials and the
remainder of the trial location received
a 2x rate of Cobra + crop oil. This
caused severe leaf burn to the plot.
All varieties recovered within
approximately 1 week.

Weather Summary
The first three weeks after planting were dry. There was approximately 14
inches of rainfall during June and July which certainly boosted crop progress
and yield potential. Cool temperatures throughout the growing season also
reduced any possible stresses from a drier August and September.
