We had an excellent stand to begin with and had several varieties that lost many seedlings due to phytophthora. The grower/cooperator even had trouble keeping a stand on the rest of the field and had to replant at least one time. We had excellent growing conditions the rest of the year and many varieties were more than able to make up for any stand reduction problems.
