Weather Summary

The growing season was ideal for corn. Temperatures in the early spring were moderate with adequate moisture. The midsummer temperatures were near normal, especially during the time of pollination. Rainfall during midsummer was excellent throughout the grain maturation period. August temperatures were hot and rainfall amounts were low, resulting in a good dry-down period.
