Planter Box Fungicides

  • Delta Coat AD
    • Contains: chloroneb + metalaxyl (= Apron).
      Chloroneb controls Rhizoctonia solani but provides little if any control of Pythium spp., while metalaxyl controls Pythium spp.
  • Demosan 65 W
    • Contains: chloroneb.
      Chloroneb controls Rhizoctonia but provides little if any control of Pythium spp.
  • Demosan Flowable
    • Contains: chloroneb.
      Chloroneb controls Rhizoctonia but provides little if any control of Pythium spp.
  • Prevail
    • Contains: Vitavax + Terraclor + (= PCNB) + Apron.
      Vitavax provides systemic protection from Rhizoctonia, Terraclor additional Rhizoctonia control, and Apron is for Pythium control.
  • System 3
    • Contains: Kodiak biological fungicide + Terraclor (= PCNB) + Apron.
      Kodiak is a strain of the bacterium Bacillus subtilis. This bacterium colonizes the root system of the developing cotton seedling, takes up space, thereby reducing chances for invasion by Rhizoctonia and other pathogens. Terraclor provides additional Rhizoctonia protection, while Apron is for Pythium control.
  • Kodiak HB Biological
    • Contains: Kodiak biological fungicide.
      Refer to above comments concerning Bacillus subtilis. This product should be combined with another fungicide for broader spectrum disease control.
