MISSISSIPPI
STATE -- Mississippi agriculture and horticulture producers
are invited to comment on biosecurity issues that might
affect their farming operations. A web-based survey,
conducted from September through November, will help the Mississippi State
University Extension Service determine what educational programs it should
offer. To take the survey, producers should log on to the Extension Disaster
Education Network web site at http://www.agctr.lsu.edu/eden/HS_Surveys.htm
and click on "Survey of Ag and Horticulture Producers." EDEN in
conjunction with the U.S. Department of Agriculture
developed the survey to identify homeland security
educational programming needs expressed by
farmers. The
survey is anonymous and takes less than 10 minutes to
complete. Producers can take the survey anywhere there is
web access including home, libraries, county Extension
