"La Nina" means warm, dry winter
in South and Southwest,
storms in Northwest

Farmweek - January 20, 2012
The "La Nina" in the Pacific Ocean appears to be peaking.  This usually means a warmer, drier winter in the South and Southwest. A stormy winter is predicted for the Northwest.  It could repeat this summer.  Farmweek's Artis Ford reports.
