Ethanol production is not
turning land into corn fields
Farmweek - January 6, 2012
The ethanol industry says the latest land use study by the U.S. Department of Agriculture refutes its critics.  The 2002-2007 study showed there is 34 million acres less land in row crops, not more. The Renewable Fuels Association says this occurred at a time when ethanol production increased three times.
