Catfish Farmers of America
clashes with Senators and GAO
over seafood inspection

Farmweek - March 11, 2011
Catfish Farmers of American President Butch Wilson of Alabama says U.S. Senators John McCain (R-AZ) and Tom Coburn (R-OK) are wrong to propose stopping the transfer of seafood inspection from the Food and Drug Administration to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.  Wilson says the U.S.D.A. has more inspection powers and the F.D.A. only inspects 2% of the seafood coming into the U.S.
