Worst harvest weather ever?

The year 2009 was more than just another year in Mississippi agriculture.  It will be remembered along with the droughts of 1984 and 2000 and Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The rain that fell during harvest season obliterated what was expected to be good year. It was a reminder of how agriculture and forestry are subject to the whims of weather.
