Monsanto to introduce
new cotton / soybean herbicide
for areas with resistant pigweeds

Monsanto will release a new acetochlor-based post-emergence herbicide in 2010.  It will be targeted to cotton and soybean areas where weed herbicide resistance is a problem.  The herbicide reportedly did better than average in killing pigweeds in cotton.
