"Houston Garden Park" started as vacant lot on the courthouse square in Houston.
The Chickasaw County Master Gardeners asked to turn it into a public park.
The project ended up bringing many agencies and volunteers together
with an eye toward increasing public pride in Houston
and possibly helping bring new business to the city.
Farmweek's Artis Ford reports.
