Fresh Express (Part 2)
July 17, 2009

This unique rail service is able to deliver cargo (mostly fresh produce) from coast to coast in five days or less.  It uses state-of-the-art, climate-controlled, refrigerated rail cars that tracked by GPS.  The produce is loaded and unloaded in refrigerated warehouses so the produce is never exposed to heat.
