RECORD STATE SOYBEAN YIELD PREDICTED

The October 12 USDA Crop Report predicts several records for Mississippi farmers.

Soybeans - Record state average yield of 41 bushels per acre (Previous record - 39)

Rice - Record state average yield of 7,350 pounds per acre (previous record - 7,000)

Cotton - 2nd highest state average yield predicted, 953 pounds per acre (record - 1,024)

Corn - 122.2 million bushel state harvested predicted (previous record 71.55 million)

2007 FALL FLOWER AND GARDEN FEST - Video
