DAIRY FARMERS
BEGIN THEIR SUPPLY MANAGEMENT PROGRAM - The nation's diary farmers
begin to collect (through their cooperatives) will pay five cents per
100 pounds of milk to fund the program. "Cooperatives Working Together"
will try to reduce the supply of milk so prices will rise enough to result
in a net return of 23 cents per 100 pounds of milk to dairy farmers. |
