USDA CHANGES POLICY ON ANNOUNCING BSE TEST RESULTS
The U.S. Department of Agriculture says if a possible positive result is indicated by the so-called "rapid test, two more rapid tests will be conducted on the same cow.
If one of the additional tests is positive, the results will be announced to the public. USDA officials say the three test method is the procedure recommended by the rapid test manufacturer. |
