Southern Gardening is a weekly, 1 1/2-minute TV segment designed to air within TV newscasts. The segment is produced for the Mississippi State University Extension Service by MSU's Office of Agricultural Communications.

Southern Gardening is designed for persons interested in lawn and garden care. The show features Extension Horticulturist Norman Winter and is produced by video producers Tyson Gair and David Lack.
