Defining Leadership Today
Enables the learner to understand the definition of leadership, the types of power leadership has and the characteristics of effective leaders. This includes a self-assessment of your leadership skills.
Etiquette 2011 - Participants will learn that image counts when interviewing or networking, as well as how to bring out your best features. They will also learn to describe the different codes of dress and also rules for dining.
The Seven “C’s” of Success
Participants will become aware of the seven items that must be brought into any challenge, opportunity, endeavor, or relationship. The 7 C’s give us the most universal, logical, and comprehensive framework for success.
Valuing Diversity - gives a basic look of just what diversity means and how important it is to us as individuals as well as a nation.This program answers the following questions:What are the various forms of discrimination that are prevalent? What are the barriers to diversity? Just what does discrimination create in a society? Learning how to put diversity into action.
Enhancing Your Public Speaking Skills
Participants will learn how to speak with a purpose, learn to organize and deliver effective speech, rules of the 4-H public speaking contest and be challenged to recruit and train 4-Hers for this contest area.
Leadership Ethics
Enables the learner to become aware of some common definitions for the terms values, morals, and ethics. The "Six Pillars of Character" are explained and the group will learn how they apply to the decision-making process.
The New Science of “Thank You”
The participant will learn that the two most important words you’ll say today can change your life, and research is proving it. The participant will understand the importance of gratitude and how it can change your life!
Leadership Styles
This presentation teaches how to identify different leadership; personality styles and types affect the goals of effective leaders.
Email and Social Networking
Discuss the revolutionizing of communication, to become aware that what is said reflects your personal values, attributes, intellect, and professional decorum.
Team Building
Participants will gain insight in how-to a build stronger team, improve team-working abilities, resolve team conflicts, and learn the pros and cons of a team. Participants also will participant in several hands on team building activities and give group feedback concerning their task
Professionalism in the Workplace
Defines professionalism and explores eleven points of professionalism. Participants will also learn what it means to be a professional in today’s business sector and how to project an image that enhances a positive self-image in the workplace.
Meet the American Flag
Teaching flag etiquette, its history and why we should respect it!
Where Does My Time Go?
Participants will identify common time wasters and develop strategies to eliminate them. We look at the major “thief” of our time and learn what can be done about it.
Strategic Planning
A program that will assist participants in determining their future by strategic planning based on their vision instead of their current problems and needs.
Cultivating Healthy Clubs
Criteria and the basic principles needed for a Healthy Club are discussed by giving 10 ways to develop a Healthy Club as well as the four principles for cultivating the resources of an organization.
Officer Training/Parliamentary Procedure/Officer Installations
Officers (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Parliamentarian, Chairpersons, etc.) will be installed, trained according to Roberts Rules of Order, the basic handbook of operation for most clubs, organizations and other groups.
