Ornamental & Tree Diseases Will a fungicide eradicate existing disease symptoms? Unfortunately, no. Symptoms of disease already present will remain until the plant or plant part dies, is removed, or falls naturally (as is often the case with diseased leaves). With the initiation of a fungicide spray program and proper plant maintenance, a plant may be revived and form new growth. It's important to remember this growth must be protected with fungicide applications, or it too will become diseased if conditions become favorable for infection. |
