Can Teen Mothers Receive Benefits?
An unmarried teen parent must now live with a responsible adult or in an adult-supervised setting, such as a foster home ot group home, in order to qualify for TANF.Teen mothers can receive
welfare only if they are in school or in a job training program once their
babies are three months old.
