Linda served as Area Health Agent for 28 Central Mississippi counties from 1993 through 1996. She worked with coalitions, community colleges, and general populations to help identify and address local health problems. Linda moved to Lee County in early 1997 to become Home Economist, where she served until re-assignment in 2002. She is excited to be a part of the MS Rural Health Corps again, as an area health agent. She holds a B.S. in Home Economics from Mississippi University for Women and a Masters in Health and Physical Education from Mississippi State University, plus an additional 66 semester hours in graduate work in these academic areas.
