I found holes in my plastic freezer bags. Why?

Insects or rodents eat through plastic bags in their search for food. Therefore, avoid using plastic bags except when the food is able to be stored in the freezer of refrigerator. Choose to store food in glass jars, rigid freezer containers or clean metal cans.
