Aside from forest management, production and marketing there are many topics of interest for people concerning trees. We call these specialty topics.

Specialty topics in forestry relate to trees and forests in other aspects of our lives, such as trees in cities and towns, special uses of trees, trees in our history, the people who have advanced forestry, education in forest sciences, specialty tree species and many others.
