How does timber rank among Mississippi's agricultural crops?

In 2007, timber was ranked as the second leading agricultural crop in Mississippi, next to poultry, which was valued at about $ $2.33 billion. Timber has consistently ranked first or second in production value in Mississippi since about 1988.
