What is sustainable agriculture?
In Mississippi, it is being defined as an integrated system of plant and animal production practices that must be economically viable, ecologically sound and socially acceptible. These practices have site-specific application and human nature is a fundamental part. It involves both the short run interest of the producer and the long run interest of society as a whole.
