MSU-ES Videoconferencing Facilities
include
- Research and Extension Center: 12 rooms
- County Classrooms: 6 rooms
- County carted units: 77 sites
- County mounted unit: 1 site
- On campus in the Division of Agriculture, Forestry and Veterinary Medicine: 20 rooms
- Wireless and satellite videoconferencing (allows us to conduct videoconferences from almost anywhere)
There are 82 counties in Mississippi; some counties have multiple rooms.
Classrooms include a computer, electronic white board, VCR/DVD, document camera, touch panel and monitors.
Carted units have the flexibility of being moved into an office for in-service training, a conference room for a meeting or into a large auditorium for a program (depending on the county facilities).
The mounted unit has plasma monitors mounted on the wall, but they do not have the complete set of equipment found in the classrooms.
County sites are a collaborative effore between county boards of supervisors and the MSU Extension Service.

- 2 Gatekeepers capable of 200 calls and 1000 registrations
- 2 Multiple Control Units (MSUs) each capable of 90+ calls
- Media Recorder, Server, Viewer capable of unlimited streams depending on bandwidth (used to produce online training modules, live or archived).
- 2 Recorder Streaming Server (RSS) each capable of recording 2 conferences simultaneously and streaming 50 live or archived video streams and 10 videoconferences at one time
- Video Media Center (VMC) which archives recorded video and streams live or archived video to an unlimited number users, depending on user bandwidth
- iView Suite Scheduling Server
- Scopia desktop server capable of connecting 200 computers, 50 of which can interact in the videoconference (Allows individuals to participate in videoconferences with only a webcam and high speed Internet connection).
