Should I grow both pasture and hay?
This depends on several
situations, and especially depends on size of operation.
Most operations
of 50 cows, or more, graze and also, have their own hay making equipment.
With only 10 to 12 animals it usually is more economical to buy and/or
let someone custom harvest your hay.
