Greenhouse Tomatoes

How much yield can I expect per plant?

Yields vary widely among growers, depending on the experience and management skills of the grower. Most growers in Mississippi will yield between 20 and 25 pounds per plant annually. This number applies whether the crop is split between a spring and a fall crop, or if one long crop is grown. The annual production is about the same. Bear in mind that while growers in other states have achieved yields as high as 55 pounds per plant, that there are also growers who have produced under 10 pounds per plant due to their management style.
