Current Interests, Duties and Responsibilities

I am currently working towards my M.S. Degree in Geosciences from Mississippi State University.  My responsibilities include land cover analysis and mapping changes in socio-economic and demographic data for the Center for Urban Rural Interface Studies’ (CURIS) study area through the use of a Geographic Information System (GIS) and remote sensing.  I also assist in maintaining our clearinghouse of information regarding smart growth, sustainable development, and disaster preparedness.  My interests include environmental and coastal studies as well as anything pertaining to GIS and remote sensing.
