Aquaculture: Hybrid Striped Bass
Hybrid
striped bass production in Mississippi is well established, with production
facilities located in many areas of the state.
There are about 1000 acres of ponds devoted to production of food-size hybrid stripers, as well as several small- to large-scale intensive tank culture systems in operation.
