MISSISSIPPI VIRTUAL 4-H CLUB

To submit entries in the Virtual Club Monthly Photography contest:

1. Resize photo using FastStone or other similar software.
   1. FastStone can be downloaded free from: http://www.faststone.org
   
   
   2. Resize Photo: to a maximum of 1 MB file size and no larger than 1500 x 2100 pixels.
   
   
2. Rename file
1. countyname_lastname-firstinit.jpg
   all_lower_case letters
   no_spaces
   only_underscores
2. Example: If I, Jim Lytle from Oktibbeha County were submitting a photo:
   oktibbeha_lytle_j.jpg
3. Make sure you mark the box to append the file extension - Use three digit extension = .jpg


3. E-mail to Jim Lytle at JimL@ext.msstate.edu


4. Submission Deadline:
   Thursday 5:00 pm, prior to Monday Virtual Club meeting.
   
   Example: Virtual Club will meet on Monday, August 20. Deadline for submitting this months "best vacation photo" will be Thursday, August 16 a 5:00 pm.


5. Each month during the Virtual Club meeting, I will do a critique of the entries received and award a "best of month" photo winner.
