4-H logo4-H Child Development Project

The Child Development Project is intended to help participants develop in all four of the areas represented by the H's on the 4-H logo: Head, Heart, Hands, and Health. Training is provided in the following areas:

  • Educational commitment and achievement (Head)
  • Responsive and caring relationships ( Heart)
  • Civic and social responsibility (Hands)
  • Healthy Lifestyles (Health)

The Child Development Project is designed to help youth improve knowlege and understanding of human development and learn how to relate to others and to help them prepare for careers related to child development.
