4-H Member Project Recovery Grants

Guidelines:

Who can apply:

• Any Mississippi 4-H member who suffered some form of tangible loss to their 4-H Project as a direct result of Hurricane Katrina.
• Applicant must have been a 4-H member on club and county roster prior to August 28, 2005.
• Applicant must have been on record prior to August 28, 2005 as being a participant in the 4-H Project area where loss is being identified.

Restrictions:

Grant support can only be requested for 4-H Project loss not covered by insurance or governmental relief funds.
• Replacement of trophies, plaques, certificates, ribbons, etc are not eligible for grant support
• Request for funds to assist with future 4-H activities is not eligible for grant support unless it deals specifically with the 4-H Project recovery
