Mississippi 4-H Developmental Disabilities Grant

Puzzle pieces representing activies which may be included as a part of the grantThe Mississippi 4-H Developmental Disabilities (MDD) grant program is sponsored by the Mississippi Developmental Disabilities Council and The 4-H Club Foundation of Mississippi, Inc. and administered by the 4-H Youth Development Department of the Mississippi State University Extension Service.

The MDD Grant Project is an opportunity for young people in the State of Mississippi to engage in activities and events that focus on inclusion of people with developmental disabilities. Available to any youth-serving organization in Mississippi, the purpose of the project is to promote positive personal and societal changes in regard to the abilities of people with developmental disabilities.

Review the GRANT PACKET (PDF) for details. The packet and forms should be printed, completed and submitted to the State 4-H Youth Development Department.

  • Proposals are due by July 20, 2006 to the State 4-H Youth Development Department.
  • Projects are to be completed by September 15, 2006.
  • Final Reports are required by September 15, 2006 and should be mailed to the State 4-H Youth Development Department.
