How can I share my power?

4-H CLoverThere are numerous ways that you can share your support with 4-H. Whether you can share your time, talents, expertise, or financial support, the Mississippi 4-H Foundation can work with you to help your gift create the maximum opportunities for our members. Except where identified under specific proposals, salaries and most administrative costs are not taken from any Mississippi 4-H donation. Over 96% of every dollar contributed to 4-H goes directly to the purpose intended -- our members.

Join the Alumni and Friends Program.
This program provides direct support to the children and their projects at both the local and the state level. It supports 4-H Volunteer Leader training, and also promotes the great things 4-H is doing for our youth and our state. Visit Mississippi 4-H Alumni and Friends Program to join.

Become a 4-H Project Area Sponsor.
As a 4-H Project Sponsor, you support the various curriculums offered to our 4-H members. These funds help provide awards and recognition, updated materials, and help meet the costs of sending qualified members to national leadership training and national level competitions. Complete the Mississippi 4-H Project Area Support Agreement Card.

Become a 4-H Volunteer.
You do not have to start a club or even be a club leader to be a 4-H volunteer. You may choose to help out only on occasion such as helping with a project area where you have interest or expertise. Visit the 4-H Volunteer page to learn more.

Become a Major 4-H Contributor.
As a Major 4-H Contributor you will have the opportunity to attend key 4-H functions at the district and state level. You will receive special information and hear personally from representatives of our membership. Most importantly, you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you are playing a major part in ensuring that tomorrow's world is a better place because you shared a part of yourself with so many Mississippi youth. You may choose to make your special 4-H donation through any one of several channels:

  • Support for specific programs, projects, or activities
  • Support to the Mississippi 4-H Foundation Endowment Fund
  • Support to Mississippi 4-H Scholarship Funds
  • Support in the form of Memorials
