2005 MSU 4-H Entomology Camp Wood Institute |
The 2005 MSU 4-H Entomology Camp (commonly called Bug Camp) was held in two locations. The first camp was held June 19-23 at the Wood Institute in Mathiston, MS. King's Arrow Ranch in Lumberton, MS was the site of the second camp, July 17-21.
Wood Institute
Wood
Institute in Mathiston, MS, is a great site for insects and other adventures.
The nearby Old Cove provided some very interesting adventures, while numerous
insects were collected each day. Check out the Adventures page
and the
Buggies
pages to see some of the events of the camp and the campers.
Below are the fine crew of campers and staff at Wood Institute.

King's Arrow Ranch
King's
Arrow Ranch is a unique environment. Known for its reenactments of medieval
times, it also provides a home for many insects that have been around since
well before that time. The cabins and surroundings provided many opportunities
for study that have not been available at other camps. Check
out more about the happenings on the Adventures page.
