2004 MSU 4-H Entomology Camp Plymouth Bluff Environmental Center |
The 2004 MSU 4-H Entomology Camp (commonly called Bug Camp) was held in two locations. The first camp was held June 20-24 at the Plymouth Bluff Environmental Center in Columbus, MS. Tombigbee State Park in Plantersville, MS (near Tupelo) was the site of the second camp, July 18-22.
Plymouth Bluff

Approximately
45 campers enjoyed the accommodations at the Plymouth Bluff Environmental Center.
The staff there was most gracious and accommodating and the center offers
a wide variety of educational opportunities and insects. A good haul of insects
was made during camp by several campers. Check out the Adventures page and
the
Buggies
pages to see some of the events of the camp and the campers and to find out
more about the picture at the right.
Tombigbee State Park
What
would you think if you saw this thing heading for you? That's what
the 46 campers at the Tombigbee State Park were wondering too! Some BIG insects
and BIG fun were to be had at Tombigbee. Check out more about the happenings
on the Adventures page.
Are you missing the fun? Come join us next year at "Bug Camp"! You won't regret it. Be sure to mark your calendars for next year's camps.
